HP's Technology Forum, due to have started in New Orleans this week, has been moved to Florida because of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
The event will now take place from 17 October to 25 October at the Orange County Convention Center in Florida.
HP and HP employees have given $3m to the Red Cross fund as well as donating technology.
New CEO and president Mark Hurd will give the opening address - one of his first big public speeches since he took over from Carly Fiorina back in March.®
