Friends Reunited - the site that lets people track down long lost chums - could be put up for sale, according to The Sunday Times.
The company - valued at around £120m - has hired financial advisors to work out a plan for the future which might include the full or partial sale of the business.
Nothing has been agreed as yet and any sale is unlikely to be completed in the near future, said the report.
Last month Friends Reunited celebrated its fifth birthday, announcing that more than 12 million people had registered with the popular site. ®
