Legend unveils VoIP product

Legend Communications - formerly Business Serve PLC - has unveiled a new internet telephony product for homes and businesses.

Punters who sign up to the PipeCall product can make unlimited calls to UK landlines from £4.99 a month for numbers with 01 and 02 prefixes. For £16.99 a month, punters can make unlimited UK and international calls.

In a statement confirmig its corporate makeover boss Simon Cleaver said: "Legend Communications celebrates the Group's change of identity by delivering a further step in universal convergence and VoIP telephony with the launch of our fixed price unlimited packages.

"We believe the ISP industry is changing and we are fortunate to be in a position where we span both markets and have considerable strength within the VoIP and telecommunications sector."

Boasting some 45,000 business punters, Legend is based in Lancaster and floated on AIM in February 2004. ®
