Vodafone has launched an urgent investigation after a member of its customer support staff sent a picture of his penis to a customer's mobile phone.

Abi Penny, 21, called Vodafone after struggling to send a piccie to one of her chums, reports (http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2005122262,00.html) The Sun.

But the guy at the Scottish call centre started flirting with her, reports the paper, and after exchanging pictures to show that her phone worked, he sent her a snap of his todger.

She told the paper: "He sent me a picture of his manhood. I was really worried as he had all my details up on his screen. I feared he could stalk me. I feel violated. He's a sick pervert."

A Vodafone spokeswoman told The Register: "We're extremely concerned by this and have launched a full investigation." She confirmed that the person who sent the image has been identified - we didn't ask how - and suspended from work while the company carries out the inquiry. ®
