Creative has launched its latest MuVo Flash-based players in the UK: the Micro N200 and V200.
Both are available in capacities of 128MB, 256MB, 512MB and 1GB, but while the V200 follows the usual two-part MuVo design pattern - allowing you to connect it to a host PC as you would a USB Flash drive - the Micro N200 is a one-part unit that Creative claims is its smallest player yet. It's 6.6 x 3.4 x 1.3cm and weighs 34g with the battery in place.
Available in two glossy colours - black or iPod white - the Micro N200 provides the usual WMA, WAV and MP3 playback on a single AAA battery, which yields up to 15 hours' play time. There's an on-board FM radio with 32 station pre-sets which, along with the unit's line-in port, can also be used as a recording source. There's a microphone for voice recording too.
The V200 offers the same basic feature set, but lacks the line-in interface.
The Micro N200 retails for £60 (128MB), £80 (256MB), £100 (512MB) and £150 (1GB). The V200's pricing for each capacity is the same. ®
