Computacenter has signed a reseller and marketing agreement with US storage specialist 3PAR. The deal will see the two firms target financial and government organisations as well as UK SMEs. 3PAR offers consolidated on-demand storage and claims lower costs than traditional storage solutions.
Simon Gay, consultancy practice leader for Computacenter, said: "This relationship with 3PAR greatly enhances our delivery of utility computing at a time when customers are expressing greater interest in the subject."
3PAR customers include AIG, Merrill Lynch and Veritas.
