Cash-strapped readers looking for an online bargain could do worse than pop into Dell UK's store and have a look at the Dimension XPS
It's going out at a very reasonable £1,204 inc VAT and shipping. Alternatively, you can sign up for the finance deal and pay just £35 per month.
For your bucks you get the usual bangs: Dimension XPS P4 3.2GHz PD Integrated Sound, Video and NIC; 160GB 1st SATA (7200rpm) Hard Drive; 512MB PC-4200 Dual Channel DDR2 533MHz [2x256]; 16x DVD-ROM, etc, etc. Of course, what you might want to do is upgrade that hard drive to something a bit more meaty. Why not specify a 400GB (7200rpm) Serial ATA Hard Drive with 8MB DataBurst Cache, for example?:

Yup, that will cost you an additional £52,045.45 or £1,470 per month, taking the cost of your Dimension XPS to a healthy £53,249.45, or £1505 per month. Remember, though, that includes VAT and shipping. ®
