IXEurope - the privately-owned UK-based datacentre outfit - has acquired the entire stock of Telehouse Suisse SA from Telehouse International Corporation of Europe Ltd, a subsidiary of KDDI Corporation of Japan.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Said IXEurope chief exec Guy Willner: "Having weathered the storm over the last two years our management team is delighted to be in expansion phase again.
"IXEurope is now the market leader in Switzerland, which is a fast growing market due to its central position in Europe and its favourable tax laws."
IXEurope is backed by Bank of America Equity Partners and European Acquisition Capital and provides outsourced datacentre services and hosted solutions management in the UK, Germany, France and Switzerland. ®
