Despite yesterday's highly amusing observation that we are perhaps giving Nigerian advance fee fraudsters too much coverage, aficionados of the genre can rest assured that we will continue to squeeze the 419 news pig until it squeals.
To prove it, here is a nice typo from an email forwarded by reader Daniel Butterfield. The body of the text is the classic ghastly-crash-death-no-relatives-get-rich-quick formula, but DR NELSON TONY's email address certainly raised our eyebrows:
harrisonkolemanc10@mail.con
Excellent. That will certainly make it a lot easier to identify scam emails in future. We applaud the lads from Lagos for their efforts in registering their very own TLD, and very much look forward to the launch of www.maryamabacha.con and other online resources. ®
