Nordic telco TeliaSonera's Finnish wing has struck a series of agreements to provide its HomeRun broadband customers with Wi-Fi access across Europe.

The deals bring hotspots owned by the UK's BT Openzone, Austria's Metronet - now owned (http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/69/34277.html) by T-Mobile - Spain's Kubi Wireless and Estonia's Elion.

The roaming tie-ins follow a similar arrangement agreed with Swisscom Eurospot last Autumn (http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/archive/33406.html).

These latest agreements bring the number of hotspots open to TeliaSonera Finland's HomeRun customers to around 3000. The other WISPs' customers can roam across TeliaSonera's access point network, too. ®
