BT Openworld - the ISP division of the UK's dominant telco - is ditching all reference to "Openworld" in the names of its products.
From February 4, "BT Openworld Broadband", for example, will become BT Business Broadband.
"BT Openworld Business 500 plus" will be changed to "BT Business Broadband Network 500" while "BT Openworld Business 500 Plug & Go" will become "BT Business Broadband Single 500". Get the gist?
While it's ditching the "Openworld" brand from product names, the name of BT's ISP division will remain unchanged and still be called BT Openworld.
And those users with "openworld" in a their email addy can also breathe a sigh of relief since this will remain unaffected by the changes.
According to BT, the changes are meant to simplify the telco's stable of Internet products. ®
