NTL - the cableco that is to lose 2,000 jobs over the next two or three years - closed down its nthellworld.com whinge site this afternoon.
A brief notice on the site explains that nthellworld.com is "temporarily unavailable whilst we carry out a comprehensive review of the service. Please check back here in the next couple of weeks for any update."
Speculation is already mounting that this could be the opportunity for NTL to can the site altogether. No one at NTL was available for comment at the time of writing.
Last month, the site - which provides information and forums for people to discuss NTL-related issues - went dark, but only for a few hours. ®
