Bulldog is offering its PrimeTime 2000 service (http://www.bulldogdsl.com/residential/products/PrimeTime/index.asp) for £29.36 a month (including VAT) in a special promotional offer for new customers signing up to the service before the end of August.
The service, which offers speeds of 2Mbps between 6pm and 8am, and regular 512Kbps at peak times of the day, is pitched at consumers who need more speed in their domestic broadband connection than vanilla ADSL services can provide. PrimeTime 2000 service works on a 50:1 contention ratio and upstream data rates of between 256 - 400 Kbps.
During the promo, Bulldog is offering its higher speed service at £10 below the normal price of £39.94 per month for a year up until August 2004. This bring the price of Bulldog's higher speed local loop based service below the cost of some standard ADSL services.
Bulldog's offer (http://www.ispreview.co.uk/cgi-bin/news/viewnews.cgi?id=EpVluulZlZzoHqouwM) is being made in celebration expansion of the ISP's Datastream-based services out of its South East heartland to exchanges in the Birmingham, Leeds, Cambridge and Manchester areas. Bulldog currently offers Datastream-based service from 455 exchanges. ®
