Monitors

Sony today said it plans to expand its LCD monitor range for business and home users with a new line of products. For the latter, it will offer the HS series comprising 15, 17 and 19in panels available in three colours: white, dark blue and grey.

More conservative corporate buyers get plain panels, presumably. But the business-oriented S series also comprises 15, 17 and 19in displays.

Sony also committed itself to continuing to offer its Trinitron CRT monitor family. No surprise there - its 21in and 24in displays, aimed at graphics, design and publishing professionals, continue to be popular with said users because of their superior image and colour quality. Why, we even have one here.
