Free whitepaper – The business value of SIP VoIP and trunking
Psion is to sell its online store to Expansys, the self-dubbed Europe's "largest specialist retailer of wireless technology in Europe and North America".
Expansys is paying £300K upfront and up to £200K on performance over the next couple of years. Psion in turn will promote the Expansys store on its web sites in the UK, USA, France and Italy for a year, PMN reports.
Psion doesn't really have too much to sell through retail these days, following its withdrawal from the modem card and consumer PDA sectors (although you can still get new Netbooks). Expansys, which we look up from time to time for pricing info, is an obvious home for end-of-life Psion consumer products and add-ons as it is already an active Psion retailer. ®
