Obscure language group comes up trumps

You know that your language group has really arrived when Microsoft agrees to write a version of Office for your very own tongue.
So a big fat hello to the 400,000 writers (speakers?) of Nynorsk, or New Norwegian, a variant of, err, Norwegian. By simple dint of getting the schools of Norway to threaten to boycott Microsoft unless it ponied up a Nynorsk version, campaigners have triumphed where six million or so Catalan speakers, and the we-want-Mac-Office-in-Hebrew brigades have signally failed. Now you know how to get your way. Boycott, nay, threat of boycott, could be so much quicker and simpler than joining, say, a KDE language translation group.
Come on, Catalans! Even Bhutan has its native language version of Office, the donkey work funded admittedly by charity. ®
