NEC junks UK, Malaysia PC plants
Outsources ops to Taiwanese firm
NEC is shutting down PC operations in Livingston, Scotland and in Malaysia and is outsourcing production to an unnamed Taiwanese supplier, the Nihon Keizai, a Japanese newspaper, reports.
