It looks like the glitch that has plagued the BBC's new "editorially independent" search engine appears to be still throwing up some rogue results.
Type in the generic term "football" and the "editorially independent" search engine throws up the "BBCi recommended" BBC - Football homepage as its first choice.
Tap in "rugby" and the top two sites also belong to the BBC. Coincidentally, "Cricket" brings up the BBC's Cricket homepage in the top slot as well.
The same goes for "gardening", which throws up the BBC Gardening homepage ahead of the Royal Horticultural Society.
Then there's "cooking" (the BBC food homepage is first up), and "children" which posts the BBC's kiddie TV Web site ahead of the rest, and... ®
