West Berkshire Trading Standards carried out a raid on the premises of Newbury memory distributor Rombyte yesterday.
Thames Valley Police and West Berkshire Council Trading Standards confirmed that the raid, which we're informed concerned allegedly counterfeit memory, had taken place.
Rombyte continues to trade but declined to comment. It will issue a statement on the matter next Tuesday, a representative of the company told us. ®
