Security for virtualized datacentres

The European download site for the popular Pegasus email package has been taken offline following an attempted security breach.

A statement on the Pegasus site states "our European site is unavailable because of a recent attempted security breach. We are currently relocating our server, but until the process is complete, we would ask our European users to bear with us and use the North American sites."

The exact nature of the attempted attack, or when the site will again be available, remains unclear. Pegasus Mail is based in New Zealand and no-one could be reached there for immediate comment. We'll update you on what it says if, and when, more information becomes available. ®
