TSMC, the world's biggest semiconductor foundry business, has appointed Sir Peter Bonfield, former CEO of BT, as an independent director.

Before BT, Bonfield ran ICL, the Fujitsu-owned British computer services firm. He joined that company from Texas Instruments. ®
