Fed up with celebrity pap?

Get your own back at AmIAnnoyingorNot.com, and pass judgement on more than 3,000 (so far) people or groups in the public eye. You can vote on whether celebrities are annoying or not, but you cannot grade the level of the annoyance. You can sit on the fence, by saying you're undecided.

There's a brief resume of anyone you might vote on, and a facility to search the site for those celebs that have particularly caught you goat. Altogether we've found the site pretty addictive, especially after last weekend's inescapable Pop Idol finale.

So far, DJ Chris Evans, with an impressive 92.75 per cent of almost 40,000 votes, has been singled out as the most annoying individual by visitors to the site. His relationship with pop starlet Billy Piper and dropping out of school at 16 are held against him. Nostradamus, both Gallagher brothers and Margaret Thatcher are among the other small handful of celebs attracting disapproval ratings of 90 per cent or more.

By contrast pretty women Renée Zellweger, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Melanie Sykes get annoying ratings from less than one in five visitors.

An FAQ explains how to suggest overlooked annoying qualities or put forward candidates (without pictures) for inclusion on the site.

The site is inspired of course by AmIHotorNot.com site, which allows people to vote and the attractiveness (or otherwise) of random strangers. ®
