Tiscali UK to axe 20 jobs
But creates 30 new ones
Tiscali UK is set to axe around ten per cent of its workforce but claims this will be offset by the creation of around 30 new jobs.
The reorganisation comes after Tiscali UK's completion of a year-end review.
The company is currently in consultation and says that it has yet to make anyone redundant.
In a statement the ISP said: "Whilst there may be less than 20 redundant positions, an equivalent number of new positions have been created across the business.
"These positions will contribute to the effective delivery of our business strategy," it said.
Once this organisation is completed Tiscali will employ around 230 in the UK.
Last year Tiscali UK axed between 250 and 300 people as part of a restructuring programme. ®
