Shetland-based ISP Zetnet is the latest company tipped to rescue Cloud Nine after the Hampshire-based ISP closed shop yesterday.

Few details concerning any possible agreement are available at the moment.

However, it's understood that faxes have been exchanged this afternoon and the two parties are due to meet up this evening to finalise the deal.

Yesterday, Surrey-based ISP V21 became the front-runner to buy-out Cloud Nine, although earlier today the deal was said to be "wobbling".

Cloud Nine shut its doors yesterday after it was floored by a hack attack. ®
