Top three mobile application threats

Palm Vice President and Chief Competitive Officer Michael Mace tell us he hasn't attend rival conferences under a pseudonym.

He writes:-

Your story is incorrect. I've *never* attended a conference under an assumed name (I don't operate that way). I also haven't had time to attend any rival developer conferences for years -- members of my team go. Under their own names.

I have a mental picture of an intrepid Register reporter following around some poor guy named Michael Mates* at a conference, shouting, "admit it, you're from Palm, come on -- admit it!!" Next time you see the guy, you owe him an apology.

We shall return to the subject shortly. ®

*In a slip of the brain we referred to Michael Mace in our original piece as Michael Mates, once upon a time a high-profile Tory MP.
