EBay UK gets new MD

Douglas McCallum has been appointed the new MD eBay UK.

He replaces Jennifer Mowat who, we are told, is off to Switzerland to study for an MBA.

Mr McCallum founded the online business of Capital Radio and also the online business of sandwich chain, Pret A Manger.

By his own admission, Mr McCallum is an "under-talented" tennis player and pianist.

Which is nice. ®
