Trade and industry secretary Patricia Hewitt, has joined calls for the UK to adopt the Euro.
According to today's Times, British manufacturing industry would benefit from the UK joining the single currency, she argues.
However, if the former e-minister's "push" for the Euro is anything like her "push" for broadband then there's little hope the UK will ever succeed in relinquishing its grip on the pound. ®
