HMV the High Street music and games retailer, is to sell digital downloads from its Web site hmv.co.uk.
The company has selected UK supplier Tornado Group to provide the platform for downloading games and music from its site, and will offer the service in "the early part of 2002".
Tornado has developed a digital rights management technology and has agreements in place with EMI/Virgin, V2, Electronic Arts, Rage Software, Midas Interactive, EIDOS and Virgin Interactive. ®
