Just one day after AMD's launch of its 1.1GHz Duron processor, Intel has released a new Celeron chip, running at an increased clock speed of 1.2GHz.
The processor includes features such as 256KB on-chip, level two cache with a high-bandwidth interface to the processor core. In quantities of a thousand, the chips are selling at $103. It is based on the 0.13-micron process technology. ®
