Palm leaks unannounced m125 onto Web – then pulls it

But not before we confirmed our previous stories...

Palm yesterday posted on its Web site pages devoted to its upcoming m125 PDA - and then pulled them as many of its fans started taking a look at the new machine.

According to Register readers who saw the additions to Palm's site before they were yanked, the machine's spec. turns out to be pretty much what last month's leaks had led us to believe.

The device will have a two-tone silver and black shell; it will contain a 33MHz CPU and 8MB of RAM; it will sport an SD card slot, Palm's Universal Connector and a USB cradle. It will run Palm OS 4 though you won't be able to upgrade it. The US price will be $249. ®
