Those readers who have always maintained that Microsoft is not simply an enormous software company, but rather an evil galactic empire, appear to be vindicated.

According to MS's German site, the company has launched the QuoVadis navigation system in association with Borg Instruments. So, if you ever wondered how the company acquired its technology, it seems that it's a matter of assimilation, rather than invention. ®
