Toshiba has come out with two models of its Pocket PC PDA.
The Genio e550 has 32MB of main memory, and comes with two expansion slots - an SD slot for the Secure Digital Input-Output card and SD memory card; and a CF-II slot for compact flash cards. The high-end Genio e550/MD also comes with a 1GB Microdrive.
The Genio e550 will be launched in Japan on 20 August priced at about $560 (70,000 yen). The Genio e550/MD will follow at the end of September and cost around $800. The goodies should hit the US in the Autumn.
The pair will be on show at Wireless Japan 2001, Tokyo International Exhibition Centre, from July 17 to July 19, 2001. ®
