Tarantella targets Sun channel

Tarantella has signed up Clarity Technology to wholesale its thin-client product portfolio into the UK Sun reseller channel.

Clarity is what used to be called a VAD - or value-added distributor. In other words, it will try to create a market for Tarantella, as well as fulfilling reseller orders.

The distie based in Warrington, the same town as Technology PLC, Sun's main hardware distie in the UK.

The deal comes with the blessing of Steve Raby, Sun's UK partner sales director, who say the relationship "brings benefits for Sun". ®
