Hector Ruiz, AMD's chief operating officer (COO), reckons there "is increasing reason to believe that the personal computer market is stabilising," and will return to normal in Q4, the company said today in a statement.
Ruiz made his comments at a news conference in Japan, where he stuck to the chip firm's previous line that it will see "modest revenue growth" in Q1. He also expects the company to win market share in CPUs and flash memory. ®
