Internet World Fresh from shedding 300 jobs Tiscali UK is making its
first public appearance as a newly unified company.
According to the press release, Tiscali SpA is "the
leading Internet communications company in Europe".
It seems Internet World is the perfect opportunity to
introduce Tiscali UK Business Services and its new
management team to the industry.
Apparently, Tiscali Business Services will provide
Internet and telephony services including a virtual
ISP service (VISP)hosting, media streaming and
broadband services.
Quentin Birchall is the new MD of the Business
Services division. Which is odd, because an official
spokesman told El Regthat LibertySurf boss,
Stéphane Huet, would take up that role.
Seems like a lot can happen in week. ®
