Tiscali UK in stick up

Jolly japes for survivors

The outgoing hordes from LibertySurf UK made redundant last week have left a wee gift for the new occupants of their offices in Artillery Lane, London.

Sources tell us that disgruntled employees plastered office walls with LibertySurf stickers just to give the new occupants - mostly from LineOne - a warm greeting.

The stunt is similar to a similar jape conducted by outgoing Democratic presidential staff earlier this year who removed all the 'W' keys on the keyboards in deference to incoming president George Dubya Bush.

Back in London, though, El Reg is curious to know if outgoing staff left any other pleasant surprises for the survivors of the Tiscali cull.

Perhaps they spread clingfilm taught over lavatories, left drawing pins upturned on seats, or deposited a smelly old kipper in a heating vent.

What fun. ®
