Psion will be updating its Revo PDA next month to bring it up to date with the latest Bluetooth wireless technology, sources have claimed.
Now we know for a fact that the company is working on a wireless product, though we've seen nothing until now that points to Bluetooth or some kind of cellular-based networking.
Psion recently did the rounds of advertising agencies seeking a partner to come up with a campaign to market an upcoming product. The process was the subject of a BBC TV documentary, and while the product was kept hidden, the Psionites did let slip that it would be a wireless product.
That certainly seems to tally with the Bluetooth claim, cited by Geek.com. The site's sources also suggest that the new Revo will sport a backlit greyscale screen (long overdue) and a USB-based docking system (again, Psion, about time). Like the current Revo, the new model will contain 16MB of memory. It will run off a built-in NiMH rechargeable battery. ®
