Free whitepaper – Migrating to the new Dell Management Console
Boffins in white coats reckon they've come up with a drop-dead brilliant application for mobile phones.
Wireless Internet outfit - Brainstorm - has developed what it calls an "innovative SMS news monitoring service" that will deliver daily news headlines to mobile phone as text messages.
The service also employs text-to-speech software that will even read the news to on-the-go business people "just as if they had their own personal newsreaders".
"Mobiles are [the] latest way to get your morning headlines," chirps the press release as it explains how execs on the move can keep up to date with the latest news.
Or they can listen to the radio - or pick up a newspaper - whichever's easiest. ®
