How to do your bit for foot'n'mouth

Some enterprising young Web folk have decided to do their bit for foot and mouth and knocked up the subtly named www.sheepcull.co.uk (http://www.sheepcull.co.uk).

While the disease has made huge swathes of the countryside off bounds, given Americans the impression that we are living under curfew, ruined industries and provided a glut of human interest stories, the boys behind SheepCull have decided that a Flash-based game is what we really need.

So pop along to the site, wait a short while for the game to load and then blast rampant sheep with your mouse-led boltgun. You get 50 bullets and more sheep than the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food can deal with.

It's certainly worth a brief Wednesday visit (watch out for the boss though). Sadly, in terms of games, it doesn't reward the addict - bigger sheep in the forefront are worth just as much as the small ones at the back, so culling skill is undervalued.

That said, happy culling. ®
