Is Steve Jobs about to can the computer which renewed Apple's fortunes? This Birmingham advertising board certainly suggests so, with a not-too-suble tagline that appears to indicate the future of the iMac.

Or perhaps it's a subtle reference to the Labour administration's RIP 'let's give the spooks access to your data' bill...

Either way, thanks to reader Ian Darling for passing the pic on.

Oh, and thanks too to all the readers who wrote in pointing out that the Apple ad is a regular 'Rip. Mix. Burn' posted inconveniently obscured by the Labour Party banner. Thank heavens you're here to point these things out to us - we'd have never figured it out in a million years... ®
