Western Digital intros 80GB hard drive

Western Digital has announced its 80GB, 7200rpm, EIDE hard drive at CeBit.
The three platter WD CaviarT is currently being tested by OEMs and is expected to start shipping in April.
Noise wise the CaviarT has tested registered 33dBA in Western's own labs.
The WD Caviar 7200rpm family now includes 40, 60 and 80GB capacities. ®
