Luna UI heading for Microsoft's Stinger

Upping stakes in smartphone vaporware war

Updated Want to see what Microsoft's Stinger smartphone looks like? Tech site Infosync, which has a good track record for nabbing screenshots of unreleased gadgets, has posted a number of examples of the new device's user interface.

Stinger appears to be theme-aware. One screengrab shows the WinCE look and feel, while another looks an awful lot like the Luna UI for Windows XP, with miniature versions of the new alpha blended icons .

Yesterday's problems with dodgy VBScript have been fixed now, infoSync editor in chief Jorgen tells us, and we've updated the URL above accordingly. The site is moving to new servers.
