Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Backup/Recovery

Compel has confirmed it is in talks to sell its desktop services business.

The UK reseller was yesterday rumoured to be planning to offload the division to Specialist Computer Holdings (SCH). Today Compel chose not to reveal which prospective buyer was involved, only revealing that it was in "advanced discussions relating to this transaction".

Compel said it would make another announcement on this and its interim results, which were due out today, "as soon as practicable". ®
