Broadvision signs BT Ignite for ASP action

Broadvision has signed up BT Ignite to act as an ASP for its big ticket eCRM (electronic customer relationship managment) software.
The company says the deal is the most significant it has struck to date in the UK and is one of only six 'strategic consulting partnership' deals signed worldwide.
BT Ignite, the business broadband arm of BT, has already flogged £20 million-worth of Broadvision software, according to the software developer. It is t offer its customers hosted versions of the software, payable either through the ASP model, upfront or through annuity contracts. ®
