Who knows, they won't talk to us

Internet Security Threat Report 2014

Gameplay is expected to announce more job cuts at the multi-platform games outfit, according to sources familiar with the situation.

It's not known how many people will be hit but it's understood the redundancies could be announced as early as tomorrow.

El Reg, has tried to contact Gameplay for much of the day but despite leaving countless messages, calls have not been returned.

On the one occasion we did get through, the bunny on the other end hung up on us. Charming. She didn't even have the courtesy to say "we don't comment on rumour and speculation" or some other such nonsense.

Just before Christmas 20 people were booted from Gameplay when two offices were shut. This was swiftly followed by the departure of MD Tim Coles. ®
