Swedish chat outfit - Dobedo - has closed its office in the UK.
It still plans to run its UK site but from the safety and comfort of its Swedish offices and believes the move won't damage its presence in Britain.
While only a handful of people stayed to the very end, the closure of Dobedo's London office could be damaging for its operation.
According to insiders, the closure betrays one of Dobedo’s core principles – that country content and community should be geared around each culture and its values and interests.
Furthermore, Dobedo's UK users aren't that chuffed by the closure either. Unconfirmed reports suggest that Dobedo's UK site is turning into a "ghost town".
In its heyday, Dobedo UK had some 5,000 visitors a day - now it can barely muster 2,000. ®
