Sound card supremo Creative Technology has lowered its Q2 sales forecast because its big PC vendor customers are buying less.

For the three months to 31 December, the company expects to turnover between $410 million and $420 million. It had estimated sales could hit $460 million for the period, and it had revenues of $437 million for the same quarter last year.

Creative's main customers include Dell, Compaq and HP. ®
