The Aberdeen anti-child abuse campaigner planning to name and shame paedophiles on the Net is to appear in court charged with conspiring to abduct a child.
Stuart Carnie, who runs the charity Caring for Children, is one of nine people charged in connection with the alleged abduction of a nine-year-old girl in Sunderland last February.
Carnie is due to appear in Durham Crown Court on Friday.
On his Web site, called Abuse of Children, Carnie has published a database of sex offenders, with names, addresses and pictures. ®
