Dixons is to offer software downloads for handhelds and other mobile devices through its Web site.
The service is managed by Braindock.com which will keep a transaction fee for each download.
Dixon is, among other things, the UK's biggest retailer of handhelds. It will promote the service in-store and on its Web site. ®
