Insult to injury in Microsoft's hour of trial(s). While hackers of the possibly sinister, secretive variety been busily downloading company source code, somebody's been taking liberties with microsoft.com in Internic entries.
And considering what they said about Microsoft, and what has been said about Apple in a possibly related hack, the FBI may wish to have a word with Steve Jobs.
Apparently there's a wealth of innocent amusement to be had with this sort of stuff - the Microsoft implementation can be found here, but for the more indolent, here's what it says:
MICROSOFT.COM.IS.SECRETLY.RUN.BY.ILLUMINATI.TERRORISTS.NET
MICROSOFT.COM.IS.RULED.BY.HACKERJACK.COM
MICROSOFT.COM.INSPIRES.COPYCAT.WANNABE.SUBVERSIVES.NET
MICROSOFT.COM.HAS.NO.LINUXCLUE.COM
MICROSOFT.COM
Apple's new entry, meanwhile, says:
APPLE.COM.IS.THE.CHOICE.OF.ALL.SELF.RESPECTING.TERRORISTS.NET APPLE.COM
Suspicious or what? ®
